We are currently inviting Junior Systems administrators to join our team based in Roodepoort, Gauteng.
Duties and responsiilities would include the following:
- Maintain configuring for software and hardware.
- Monitor system performance, maintain systems according to requirements, and troubleshoot issues or outages.
- Ensure security and efficiency of Workstations through; securing, managing Access Controls, and backups.
- Upgrade hardware or software systems with new releases and models.
- Maintain configuration database with technical documentation & manuals.
- Support in-house staff with IT related maters. Desktop support.
- Manage Access Control and CCTV platforms.
Desired Experience & Qualification
1 - 3 years experience.
- N+
- A+
- Domain administration.
- Network installation.
- Linux admin.
- Experience with Desktops, networks (LAN, WAN) management.
- Linux Desktop and Linux Server experience.
- Knowledge of System Security and Data Backup & Recovery practices or similar technologies.
- Familiarity in Hypervisors, Windows Severs Operating Systems. certification advantageous but not required.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Must follow best practice principals.
